JLab Macintosh Systems

Macintosh computers are being managed via Casper. We currently support MacOSX 10.10 and 10.11. Installing Unsupported or Beta Versions of future releases of OS X is not recommended or permitted on JLab owned machines.

When you purchase a Macintosh, you should contact the IT Division Help Desk and submit a CCPR with the owner's username and drop the machine off at the Help Desk. We will then configure the Mac to be able to use your JLab user account and install the following JLab-CUE software:

  • Microsoft Office 2016
  • Symantec Endpoint Protection
  • Firefox
  • Thunderbird
  • Java
  • XQuartz
