The current Apache web server installation for CUE web servers is based on the RPM delivered with the current version of RedHat Enterprise Linux. Most new web servers are running RHEL4, which provides Apache-2.0.52. A few run RHEL3 which delivers Apache- . A fair number of servers are still running RHEL3 and using the version of apache hand compiled in /apps/apache. The current production version is 1.3.39. All of these systems running apache-1.x are being upgraded to RHEL4 and apache-2.0.52.
A number of apache modules are installed by default. Others can be requested for installation. A few are only installed for special servers.

To support java web application development, a standard apache-tomcat installation is available.
