Browser Password Management
Mozilla and Internet Explorer offer password management features which will automatically store and enter your password
if not disabled. This process keeps a local copy of your password and is a violation of security policy.
Disabling Password Management in Mozilla/Netscape:
Select "Edit" then "Preferences". Under the Category column to the left, click the arrow next to "Privacy & Security". Now
select "Passwords" and uncheck the box next to "Remember Passwords". To clear the list of previously remembered passwords
click the "Manage Stored Passwords" button and then "Remove All"
Disabling Password Management in Internet Explorer:
Select "Tools" then "Internet Options" and then under the "Content" tab select "Auto Complete". Uncheck the box next
to "User names and passwords on forms". To clear any previously saved passwords click the "Clear Passwords button".
