Microsoft Home Use Program

The Home Use Program (HUP) is part of a new offering from Microsoft. If you are a JSA employee who takes work home with you, then you are eligible to participate in the HUP. This program enables you to get a licensed copy of most Microsoft Office applications to install on your home computer so you may work from home.

As a licensed user under JSA, with active Software Assurance (SA), you are eligible to order a single copy of a product you use at work to install on your home machine so you may work from home. This product must only be installed on one machine; not multiple machines. You may only continue using the HUP software while you are under JSA employment. Additionaly, the software you use at work must remain under SA coverage for HUP to apply.

If your use Microsoft Office products does not fall under the above description, please order your Microsoft Office products through the Employee Purchase Program (EPP).

To access the Microsoft Home Use Program web site, please follow the steps below:

1. Click here to retrieve the program code using your JLab username and password.
NOTE: this program code is assigned to our organization for our sole use in accessing this site. You may not share this number with anyone outside our organization.

2. Go to https://hup.microsoft.com/

3. Select the country to which you wish your order to be shipped to and choose the language for viewing the order web site.

4. Enter your JLAB email address and program code.

5. You will receive an email with a link. Use that link to place your order on-line. The product will be shipped to the location you have chosen. Please note that a fulfillment fee will be charged to cover packaging, shipping and handling costs.
