ICA Client setup
To use MetaFrame, all Unix clients need to use the ICA client software. The Computer Center has ICA clients available in the /apps directory for Sun, HP, and Linux.
Users that have Linux machines that do not mount /apps, can get the RPM of the client software HERE. NOTE: Users that install the RPM will need to run /usr/lib/ICAClient/wfcmgr.bin instead of metaframe.
To start MetaFrame, you need to issue following two commands.
On any CUE Unix machine, type:
metaframe
Then you will see following window.
Select Entry, New
Select radio button next to Server, and select CCTS, and select OK. OR you can just type CCTS at Server field and Jefferson Lab Terminal Server on the Description field as Properties figure shown below.
Give a brief description (i.e. Jefferson Lab Terminal Server)
You will see following window.
Select Option and Setting, Preferences, Windows and select desirable Window Size.
